Visiminds products

Five products

Ivy Lens, Ivy Insight and Ivy Farsight for security, InfiKnit Forensics for cyber forensics, and OptikRange for hands-on practice.

For teams that build and run software, for the people who manage security risk, for forensic investigators, and for people who train in security.

Three columns: the code you build, checked by Ivy Lens; the systems you run, checked by Ivy Insight; and the findings you already have from audits, scanners and reviews, read by Ivy Farsight

Three for security

Checks the code you build: source code, open source packages, secrets, infrastructure files, and Android and iOS apps. It runs on your own computer. From the findings it builds a threat model, a view of the risk and a plan for the technical debt.

  • 893 rules written by Visiminds
  • Your code is never sent to a cloud
  • Licensed by use: an estimate of the price is shown before a scan starts

Checks the systems you run: systems open to the internet, websites, APIs (Application programming interface. The interface one program uses to talk to another.), networks, databases, cloud accounts and AI applications. It can run in your network.

  • 11 engines, run as often as you like
  • A deadline on every finding: by default, at most 7 days for a critical finding
  • Licensed by use: one credit for each asset and engine

Reads the findings you already have, from audits, scanners and reviews. It groups them by cause, rates the risk with its formula, and plans the actions that lower it most. It runs on your own machine.

  • 1,162 remediation rules written by Visiminds
  • Every figure opens to its source row
  • No machine learning model is trained, and no model sets a number

Ivy Lens and Ivy Insight together

They complement each other.

Two named cards: Ivy Lens checks code, packages and app builds on every build, Ivy Insight checks hosts, cloud accounts and web applications as often as you like, and both write findings the same way on one severity scale

The code you build and the systems you run

Ivy Lens can check your code on every build. Ivy Insight checks the systems it runs on, as often as you like, before and after a release.

Each product writes its own report. Both use the same severities, weakness classes and layout, so one team can read both.

  • Both can run on your own hardware, even with no internet connection
  • Both show what they covered and what they left out, and why
  • Rules, reports and mappings to standards can be adapted to your needs, and to the regulations of your country or region

Ivy Farsight: from findings to decisions

A dataset of thousands of findings becomes a few themes and one plan that says what to do first and the risk it removes

The findings you already have

Audits, scanners and reviews leave a company with thousands of open findings. Counted one by one, the few weak controls behind them stay hidden.

Ivy Farsight groups the findings by cause, shows where the risk sits, and plans the actions that lower it most, with the risk left after each one. Fixed rules set every number, and people decide.

  • A remediation plan for leadership, for managers and leads, and for the engineers who fix
  • Assets matched to known vulnerabilities, and threat models drawn from the data
  • It runs on your own machine, with no internet connection

One for cyber forensics, one for training

A catalogue of digital evidence types drawn as a tree, with every slot collected except one that is marked missing, and a note to collect it before the next incident

InfiKnit Forensics

Our cyber forensics framework, a product for investigations and root cause analysis (RCA) (Root cause analysis. Finding out what happened in an incident, how, and why.). It classifies digital evidence (Information stored or sent in digital form that can be used in an investigation, such as logs, files and messages.) and finds what is missing. Our forensics team provides the consulting around it.

Who it is for

  • Enterprises
  • Incident response teams
  • Forensic investigators
A practice network where an attack runs in five numbered steps, from reconnaissance to data theft, and a SIEM panel beside it that shows an alert for each step

OptikRange

A modular (Built from separate parts, so parts can be added or changed.) cyber range (A practice network where people learn to attack and defend safely.). It runs attack scenarios from beginner to expert level. Each attack raises alerts in a SIEM (Security information and event management. The system that collects security alerts and logs in one place.) while it runs.

Who it is for

  • Students
  • Analysts in training
  • Instructors
  • Police

Where to start

Start with what is due first

With Ivy Lens and Ivy Insight, you can start with one and add the other when you are ready.

A release is coming

Start with Ivy Lens. It checks the code, its packages and the app build before they ship.

An auditor or a customer asks for a report on your systems

Start with Ivy Insight. Its benchmark checks keep the command and its output as evidence.

After an incident, or before one

Ask about InfiKnit Forensics and our cyber forensics services.

Your team needs practice

Ask about OptikRange, and about hands-on courses from Visiminds Learn.

You have thousands of findings and need a plan

Start with Ivy Farsight. It reads the export you already have and turns it into themes, a risk view and a plan.

The products at work
