Nothing from other sites
Fonts and pictures come from this server. Your browser contacts no other website when a page loads.
The web server log
Like every web server, ours writes one line to a log for each request. The line holds:
- the IP address (The number that identifies a device on the internet, or the network it connects through.) the request came from
- the date and time
- the page or file asked for, and whether it was found
- the user agent (A line of text your browser sends with each request. It names the browser and the system it runs on.) of your browser
- the page that linked to it, if your browser sends it
- Used for
- Security, and finding faults
- A second log
- Errors, such as a request the server could not answer. Each error line also holds the IP address and the page asked for.
- Kept for
- 14 days. Then both logs are deleted.
Email, links and our products
Email you send us
If you write to info@visiminds.com, we use your message and your address to reply to you. Email is not a safe place for passwords, keys or details of your network.
Links to other websites
Some links lead to LinkedIn, to the publishers of the reports we quote, and to a map. Each site's own privacy policy then applies. Your browser tells it only that you came from this website, not from which page.
